Peony
Hand embroidered peony flower.
I was hesitant to list this piece because I hand-carved texture to the wood. This was my first time trying hand carving. It was an interesting learning experience and I do plan on using this technique on other pieces. With all that said, the texturing isn’t flawless but it still adds an interesting dimension to the piece.
