All pattern and digital goods instructions and guides are in English.

Our pattern files are designed for standard U.S. Letter size paper (8.5 x 11 inches). Please ensure you print the templates at 100% scale or actual size for accurate results. All measurements within the instructions are provided in imperial units (inches). For wood embroidery patterns, drill bit sizes are given in both imperial and metric units.

Cardstock between 65lb and 100lb is recommended for best results.

To get started with a paper embroidery project, you will need:

  • Printer: To print the templates and instructions.
  • Paper: Cardstock between 65lb and 100lb is recommended for best results.
  • Awl: The pattern will usually indicate the recommended awl size for optimal results.
  • Piercing Surface: A piece of Styrofoam or a similar soft material is needed to protect your work surface while piercing the paper.
  • Needles: Tapestry needles in sizes #24 and #26 are commonly used for paper embroidery.
  • Thread: Embroidery floss or other suitable thread.
  • Scissors: For trimming thread.
  • Optional (for wall pieces): Foam tape and cord for mounting.

To get started with a wood embroidery project, you will need:

  • Printer: To print the templates and instructions.
  • Drilling Mechanism: Such as a drill press, Dremel, or power drill.
  • Drill Bits: Ensure you have drill bits in the sizes specified in the pattern. Collects may be needed depending on your drilling mechanism.
  • Painter's Tape: To help secure the template to the wood and prevent tear-out.
  • Spray Adhesive or Glue Stick: To temporarily adhere the template to the wood for easier drilling.
  • Needles: Tapestry needles in sizes #24 and #26 are commonly used for wood embroidery.
  • Thread: Embroidery floss or other suitable thread.
  • Scissors: For trimming thread.
  • Optional (for wall pieces): Cord for hanging and framing hooks for mounting.
